Born in Brussels, Christian Wijnants moved to Antwerp in 1996 to study fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. His graduate collection won the Dries Van Noten Award for best collection in 2000. After graduation, Christian presented his collection at the prestigious Festival d’Hyères, where it was awarded the Grand Prix and picked up by stores including Colette (Paris), Pineal Eye (London), and Via Bus Stop (Tokyo). After working with Van Noten in Antwerp and Angelo Tarlazzi in Paris, Christian launched his eponymous label in 2003.

Designing for fashion every day, one cannot be surprised that the design of the project took us around 100 hours from start to delivery, while our biggest challenge was to make it look as simple as possible and make his designs come to life and stand out. For the design part, UI and usability were our main focus. We started step-by-step, with mock-up pages, in a process of pitching-correcting-pitching-correcting. Our aim was focusing the viewer’s attention on the photos, with a minimalistic, clean and simple design.

We were contracted for the whole package, starting with strategy, design & development, including trainings for all their people involved, to introduce them to Magento management and online marketing.

Finally we put the webshop in sync with their ERP and implemented Multisafepay as payment gateway.

Now the brand Christian Wijnants reaches online buyers on a global scale, due to the worldwide shipping method we implemented on their webshop.
