We are looking for a QA & software tester to join our team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. You should be able to ensure that the developed software corresponds to all the specifications (software, functional and/or business requirements) and to understand how the system operates to find possible defects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Test Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for Magento projects, custom PHP, and React applications.
  • Perform thorough regression testing to ensure software stability and functionality after updates and changes.
  • Conduct post-release testing to verify the integrity and performance of software deployments.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create detailed and precise testing scenarios and ensure they are maintained.
  • Generate clear, concise, and comprehensive bug reports and tickets, ensuring all necessary information is included for developers to understand and resolve issues.

API Testing:

  • Use Postman to design, execute, and maintain API test cases.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Effectively communicate test results, issues, and concerns to developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve software quality and user experience.

MUST HAVES

  • Education (preferred level): Bachelor’s Degree (in Computer Science is a plus 😀) 
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a QA and Software Tester 
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies (functional, non-functional, end-to-end, regression testing)
  • Experience with testing Magento projects, custom PHP applications, testing web applications: cross browser, cross device 
  • English: Professional working proficiency 
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (a plus)

SKILLS

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in creating detailed and understandable test scenarios and documentation
  • Strong ability to create clear and concise bug reports and tickets
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with developers and other stakeholders
  • Familiarity with: issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) // Postman (for API test cases) // automation tools like UFT, Selenium, Maven, or others (a plus).
